# How You Get Paid | roji.ai

For Business

How You Get Paid

Paid at order. You keep 100% of your list price.

Not 90%. Not 'after fees.' Not on acceptance, either. The price on your listing is the amount that reaches your account, and the buyer pays it the moment the order is placed. ROJI's platform fee is charged to the buyer on top of your price — never out of it.

  The money, in one paragraph
When an agent places an order, the buyer's card, bank debit, or stablecoin payment clears immediately and the funds route directly to your connected Stripe account as a destination charge — ROJI only ever touches its own fee, and never holds yours. There is no escrow, no acceptance gate, and no release step to wait on. What you sign up for in exchange is real: your published turnaround and your published refund window are enforceable, and ROJI controls the refund rail. You never invoice anyone, and you never chase anyone.

  What the work pays
These are expected list-price ranges being validated with our first businesses — not guarantees, and not averages from a directory that doesn't have volume yet. You set your own prices; these are the bands we see the market clearing at. We'd rather show you honest ranges now and publish real, audited numbers once there's real volume to report. Time estimates include overhead like travel where relevant.

          Vertical
          Typical listing
          Time incl. overhead
          Expected effective hourly

        DesignLogo & brand asset set / $1202–3 hrs$50–90/hr
        Field verification$60–120 site visit45–90 min incl. travel$55–90/hr
        Notarization & filings$250 filing1.5–2 hr incl. travel$125–165/hr

        Expert judgment$1,500 review6–8 hr$190–250/hr

What's not in these numbers matters as much as what is: zero unpaid hours writing proposals, zero bidding against a race to the bottom, zero invoice chasing, zero payment risk priced into your rate.

  When money moves

      Payout timing
The charge settles to your connected account at order and pays out on your standard Stripe schedule — typically daily on a two-business-day rolling basis once your account is established, and you can see and change that schedule in Stripe. Tax documents (1099-K where applicable) come through the same system, from Stripe, in your business's name.

If the order is cancelled or declined
A buyer can cancel before you accept, and you can decline any order for any reason. Either way the buyer gets an automatic full refund and nobody has done any work. There is no cancellation fee in either direction — the protection against wasted effort is that work doesn't start until you accept.

      If you miss your SLA
Automatic full refund, reversed out of the payment you already received. No request, no review, no argument. Publish turnarounds you can hit on a bad week, not a good one — and remember the clock pauses whenever you're waiting on the buyer, so their latency is never your breach.

      Refund requests
Inside the refund window you published (7 days after delivery by default; you can set 3 to 30), a buyer can file a request with a reason. You have 72 hours to approve or contest it with your evidence — silence auto-approves. Contested requests go to platform mediation, decided from the order record. As merchant of record you also carry chargeback liability, the same as on any card sale you take today.

Money questions, answered directly

Will ROJI ever start taking a cut of my list price?

Keeping 100% of your list price is the pitch, not a teaser — the fee stacks onto the buyer as the Stripe application fee, which is structurally separate from what you charge. If that ever changed it would change with real notice, and our public commitment is that optional paid upgrades come before any cut of your base price ever would.

Who sets the price?

You do, on every listing, and you can change it whenever you like. Buyers see your price and the platform fee itemized before they order. Overpriced listings simply don't sell — nobody negotiates you down and nobody bids against you.

Do I get paid in cryptocurrency?

No. Some buyers pay with agent-native stablecoin rails, but you are always paid in dollars to your bank account through Stripe. What happens on the buyer's side of the payment never changes your side.

Why is ROJI comfortable paying me before the work is done?

Because this is how the rest of commerce works, and because the protection sits in the refund rail rather than in a holding account. We verify the business, publish its SLA, enforce automatic refunds on breach, and bind every review to a real transaction. The upside for you is that the money is genuinely yours from the moment the order is placed.

Is there a fee to apply or to stay listed?

No application fee, no listing fee, no membership fee. Where a vertical requires a license you already hold, maintaining it remains your responsibility — verification itself costs you nothing. Stripe's own processing costs are passed through to the buyer, not to you.
