# pricing.md — Pricing — A Platform Fee on Top, Nothing Else | roji.ai

## For agents

- **Auth:** OAuth 2.1 with PKCE against `https://api.roji.ai`; the chain is documented at [https://roji.ai/auth.md](https://roji.ai/auth.md). No client-credentials grant — a human authorizes every agent.
- **Pricing:** free to list, free to integrate. Each order is the business's list price plus a **15% platform fee (minimum $2.50)**, paid by the buyer and shown as an itemized fee preview before anything is charged. The business keeps 100% of its list price. Machine-readable schedule: `GET https://api.roji.ai/fees/schedule`.
- **Limits:** platform spend-policy defaults of **$100 per order, $500 per 30 days**, with human approval required above **$50** (an account can set its own policy; no scope lets an agent raise it). API responses carry IETF `RateLimit-Limit`, `RateLimit-Remaining`, `RateLimit-Reset` headers — honour them and `Retry-After` on a 429.
- **Payment rails:** card and ACH through Stripe at order time; x402 per account (`fundingPath: "x402"`).
- **Support:** hi@roji.ai. Refunds: `request_refund` inside a listing's refund window; a missed SLA refunds automatically and in full.

Free to list. Free to integrate. Pay when you order.

No subscriptions, no seats, no minimum commit. A percentage platform fee sits on top of each order, paid by the buying side — and the business keeps 100% of its list price.

  How the fee works
A business sets its list price. The buyer pays that price plus ROJI's fee — 15% of the list price, dropping automatically to 12% above $10k and 10% above $50k of trailing-30-day volume, with a $2.50 minimum per order. Payment processing is passed through at cost, also on the buyer's side. Mechanically the whole thing is one Stripe payment: the charge routes to the business's connected account and ROJI's fee is collected as the application fee on it, which is why the business's receipt reads as its full list price and never as a fee'd-down amount.
Your agent sees all of it before anything is charged. Every quote is an itemized, machine-readable fee preview — list price, platform fee at your current tier, processing, total — and the fee schedule is an API resource, not a pricing-page surprise.

Business receives

In every case the business receives its list price in full. The fee and the processing cost stack on the buyer, which is the whole reason a business can publish one price here and the same price anywhere else.

What the fee buys on the buying side

Refund protection

An automatic full refund if the business rejects the order or misses the SLA it published, plus a refund window after delivery — 7 days by default, 3 to 30 at the listing's discretion. The business answers a refund request within 72 hours or it auto-approves, and platform mediation is the backstop.

Verified counterparties

Business verification (KYB) through Stripe Connect and license checks against the issuing registry for regulated verticals, bound to the jurisdictions a listing is allowed to cover.

The ordering rails

Catalog search, structured inputs and typed deliverables, automated delivery checks, typed questions and status updates, receipts, and platform-enforced spend policies.

Reviews that mean something

Every review is bound to an order where money actually moved, scored at the business and the listing level — nothing farmable.

  How you can pay
Card or bank debit per order, or agent-native x402 payments in stablecoin — your agent hits a payment-required response carrying exact fee math, pays programmatically, and the order places on retry (see the order lifecycle). AP2 mandates are accepted as proof of what your agent was authorized to spend. Whichever rail you use, the payment settles to the business in dollars through Stripe: your rail choice never becomes your counterparty's problem.
Typical list prices per vertical are in the service directory.

Pricing questions, answered plainly

Why does the buyer pay the fee and not the business?

Because supply is the product. A business that keeps 100% of its list price can publish the same price here that it charges anywhere else, which is what makes listing an easy decision instead of a margin negotiation. And the buying side is replacing something far more expensive: a person on your team finding, briefing, chasing, and paying a stranger through five disconnected tools.

Where does the money sit between the order and the delivery?

Nowhere. It is already the business's. The charge routes straight to their connected Stripe account at the moment the order is placed, and ROJI only ever touches its own application fee. There is no escrow account, no platform balance holding your money, and nothing that can get stuck. Refunds run back down the same rail.

What happens if my agent cancels an order?

Cancel before the business accepts and the refund is automatic and full — nobody has done any work. After acceptance you're in the listing's terms: some services allow cancellation with a partial refund, some don't, and the listing says which before your agent orders. A business that rejects an order refunds you in full automatically.

When do businesses get paid?

At order. The payment settles to their connected account when the order is placed and pays out on their normal Stripe schedule. There is no acceptance gate and no release step — which is exactly why the refund window and the SLA auto-refund exist on the other side of it.

Are there charges for searching, asking questions, or receiving deliverables?

No. Catalog search is free, the fee preview is free, all mid-order communication is free, and listing a catalog is free. ROJI earns its fee only when an order is placed — and gives it back with the refund when an order is refunded in full.

What about independent human QA?

Not at launch, and we'd rather say so than sell it. Automated delivery checks are free and unwaivable today. A paid independent-review add-on comes back once the ordering volume is there to staff it honestly.

Is there an enterprise tier?

Committed-volume accounts with SLA contracts get custom rates. Talk to us once you're ordering at scale.
